Catastrophic Management
Our Catastrophic Management services are provided by highly experienced Registered Nurses, who through early intervention effectively manage the file, resulting in lower costs and better care, thus lowering cost.
We use and provide:
- Registered Nurses with extensive experience in all types of major diagnoses, including spinal cord and head injury
- Extensive knowledge of and access to appropriate medical and community resources; negotiate rates where indicated
- Identification of equipment needs, supplies, services, and appropriate home modifications
- Timely service within your guidelines
- Life care planning, or cost estimate plan development as needed/requested
Medical Management
Our Medical Management services help people recover from injuries in the most effective manner from a wellness and cost perspective. Through the early intervention of our Registered Nurses, we identify potential problems and assemble the best team and resources for the full duration of treatment, minimizing both expense and lost time.
Telephonic Case Management
- We feel it has the greatest impact if used at time of first report of injury
- Includes three-point contact with injured worker, physician, and employer
- Assures that medical treatment plan is developed by the most appropriate medical specialist
- Provides early identification of return-to-work alternatives
On-Site Case Management
This process:
- Closely monitors ongoing treatment plan for effectiveness, cost and compliance with face to face contact
- Confirms appropriate medical treatment
- Provides early identification of return-to-work alternatives
- Results in reduction of medical and lost time costs
Vocational Management
Our Vocational Management services help people return to work quickly with minimal disruption to the workplace, through a proactive collaborative process. The goals are to:
- Produce cost-effective outcomes
- Identify the injured person's employability, marketability, and placeability
- Identify appropriate job options and secures replacement jobs and options
- Provide job-seeking skills training where needed
- Arrange on-the-job training and retraining as appropriate
- Conduct job coaching and worksite services
- Determine residual wage-earning capacity
